Monday Night Match Play

Junior Match Play

This is a junior match play program that is geared towards giving players the chance to play both singles and doubles matches against players of a similar skill level. This session will be on Monday nights beginning October 12 and running until November 9. The intermediate session will be from 6-7:30 p.m. and the advanced session will be from 7:30-9 p.m. There is a maximum of 20 players for both to ensure that participants will have an opportunity to play both singles and doubles.

Adult Match Play

This is an adult doubles match play program that is geared towards giving players the chance to play matches and meet other players. This session will be on Monday nights beginning November 16 and running until December 14. There will be 2 time slots per night (6:00 PM and 7:30 PM) and court assignments will be made by Warren County Tennis and Sports Facility staff. The men's and women's programs will alternate each week who will play the early time. Participants must be 18 years of age.

Tennis Pantries!

We’ve teamed up with USTA Southern to offer tennis pantries that can be found at Kereiakes Park, Covington Woods Park, and at the Warren County Tennis Facility at Michael O. Buchanon Park. Inside each pantry you can find tennis rackets and balls that are available for you to borrow to play tennis at any time. We just ask that you return the equipment when you are done so that the next person can use them.

What is SOKY?

SOKY Tennis a community tennis organization serving the South Central Kentucky (SOKY) area, particularly Bowling Green and Warren County. We are a group made up of VOLUNTEERS whose purpose is to grow and strengthen OUR tennis community by creating opportunities for people of ALL AGES and ABILITIES to learn, compete, connect and enjoy the sport of tennis. We help connect people in our area to clinics, leagues, tournaments, youth programs and community events put on by ourselves and by other groups and organizations in the region. We’re here to celebrate all things tennis and build awareness of tennis to the public. We invite YOU to get involved with our organization by volunteering at one of our many events. There's an old saying that goes, A rising tide lifts all boats. In our case, it's a rising racket lifts all players.

Interested in coaching?

We are trying to gauge to see if there’s enough interest in becoming a tennis coach to hold a training or trainings in Bowling Green. Fill out our form if you are interested!

Cardio Tennis

Join the regular gang in a fast paced cardio tennis class at Buchanan Tennis Facility!

Cardio tennis is a group fitness activity that combines tennis drills and games with cardiovascular exercise to provide a fun and energetic workout. It's designed to be a full-body workout suitable for all fitness and ability levels.
