Joining a local team here creates an opportunity for you and gives you access to people, facilities, and tournaments. Tennis is a lifetime sport that can be played by people of every age range and every ability. Besides learning how to play or to improve your skills, you can make new friendships, hone your skills, and have fun so join us today!

How To Join A Local League

Join USTA

  • Go to https://www.usta.com/ and click the button to join.

  • Once you pay and join, you will be asked to self rate if you’re new.

  • Jot down your USTA member number since you will need it often.

  • Send your self rating to our email address ( sokytennisky@gmail.com ) and we will find you a team to join.

How to Register for a Team

  • You will need your team number.

  • You will need your USTA member number; membership must be current through the League Play Season.

  • Use a credit card to pay league fee.

  • Go to TennisLink.usta.com/leagues.

  • Look for "Start Playing" on the left side of the page and click on the link REGISTER FOR A TEAM and follow the prompts.

How to Create a Team in TennisLink

  • Go to TennisLink.usta.com/leagues and login to your USTA Account.

  • You will land on the USTA LEAGUE home page. Look for MY QUICK LINKS on the right side of the page and click on the link ONLINE TEAM CREATION and follow the prompts.

  • You will need your USTA member number and a credit card to pay the league registration fee.

  • TEAM NAME: The captain’s last name(s) must be included and listed first in your team name.

  • HOME COURTS: If your facility is not listed yet, click on OTHER FACILITY and enter the zip code only and choices will appear. If there are multiple listings for your facility, select the top choice. If your facility does not appear, select INDEPENDENT TEAM (this is the first listing in the drop down box).

  • Be sure to write down your team number (it begins with a 555) so you can pass it on to your players. They will need this to register for the team.

Are you new to tennis and wondering how to get started? Great! Welcome to our community. Here’s a few tips to get you started.

  • Find local clinics to participate in. Parks and Recreation has a great weekly clinic that is perfect for beginners and a clinic for more experienced players wanting to hone their skills. Check out there site for more information.

  • Find a pro to take some private lessons from. Our vast list of professionals in the area is filled with great coaches who will help you learn how to play and gain the confidence you need to join a team.

  • Join a team! Our teams are for all levels. Don’t be intimidated. We have a team for you to have fun with and improve alongside!
